Woodland Valley is a new home community in Loris, South Carolina. Woodland Valley Homes are situated on large wooded lots overlooking the award winning Diamondback Golf Course or the tranquil 8.56 acre Hannah Lake. Loris Community Hospital, part of McLeod Health is just minutes away featuring state of the art medical care and emergency services. The Woodland Valley community is conveniently located off of Highway 9, less than 20 minutes from all that the Grand Strand has to offer. The Woodland Valley entrance is located on Highway 9 past Log Cabin Road at Overlook Drive.

As of April 2024, Horry County has approved the development of 562 single family homes. Also as of April 2024, 179 single family homes have been platted, 137 single family homes have been developed and an additional 425 single family homes remain to be developed in the new home community of Woodland Valley.

Creekside Homes are developing an initial phase at the new home community of Woodland Walley in Loris.

NOTE: In January 2024, United Homes Group, Inc. (UHG), announced that it acquired the homebuilding business and assets of Creekside Custom Homes, LLC, a home builder and land developer in the Coastal region of South Carolina. Creekside builds homes primarily in the rapidly growing Myrtle Beach market with a product set that aligns with the existing Great Southern Homes brand in the marketplace.UHG operates in the southeastern United States, with its builder brand Great Southern Homes having an emphasis on South Carolina, Georgia, and soon North Carolina markets.

The Creekside acquisition nearly doubles UHG’s presence in the fast-growing Myrtle Beach market and allows UHG to control an attractive future lot position consistent with the UHG land-light strategy.

The Coastal markets in UHG’s footprint continue to benefit from a favorable quality of life and affordability that is driving in-migration from all over the country.
Jamie McLain, owner of Creekside, is staying on as the Coastal Division Land Manager of UHG’s associated land developer, and the Creekside team will join Great Southern Homes’ Coastal division.
