The Townes at Carolina Forest is a new townhome community being developed in the Carolina Forest area that started presales in March of 2026.
In July 2024, DRB Homes purchased an 11.69 piece of property behind the Towne Centre Commons in Carolina Forest near the intersection of International Drive and River Oaks Drive. This property is directly adjacent to The Cottages at Myrtle Beach.
The Cottages at Myrtle Beach is a newly developed residential community offering a variety of living options, including cottages, duplexes, and lofts, with 1, 2, and 3-bedroom floor plans. A second phase of The Cottages at Myrtle Beach (where the DRB Homes property now resides) was rezoned from HC (Highway Commercial) to MRD 3 (allows for mixed residential development in urban areas).
