Loris Heights is a new home community being planned in the city of Loris, SC.
The new home community of Loris Heights would be located near the heart of downtown Loris where Highway 9 intersects with Highway 701. There are 44 single-family homes being planned for the new home community of Loris Heights. Loris Developers currently owns this approximate 13 acre plot of land where Loris Heights is being proposed. Loris Developers has not yet announced timing or plans for development in Loris Heights.
In addition to the new home community of Loris Heights being planned, there is other new home construction activity and future development being planned nearby.
A couple of new D. R. Horton communities are near where Loris Heights would be developed – Meadow Walk and Sutton Farm.
Meadow Walk - D. R. Horton’s Meadow Walk is a new home community of just 92 homesites, nestled off Highway 45 and Strickland Drive. D. R. Horton started presales in Meadow Walk in December of 2024.
Sutton Farm - D. R. Horton’s Sutton Farm is a new home community off of SC-66 in Loris, SC that started to presell single family homes in December of 2024. The initial phase of homes in Sutton Farm consists of about 100 single family homes.
Finley Woods - Finley Woods is a new home community being planned southwest of downtown Loris just east of Highway 701. The Finley Woods property consists of two parcels of land, a 5.86 acre parcel and a 5.66 acre parcel of land. Preliminary Plans are showing approximately 36 single family homes in the new home community of Finley Woods in Loris. Diamond Shores, the current owner of the land since May of 2024, is expected to be the land developer. Timing for development of Finley Woods has not yet been announced.
Sparrow Point - Sparrow Point is a next door neighbor to Finley Woods. Sparrow Point will be developed with 10 custom built single-family homes. Diamond Shores has owned these Sparrow Point lots since February of 2025. Timing for development of the custom homes in Sparrow Point has not yet been announced.
