News Title:Seaside Palms in Sunset Beach by Dream Finders Homes Sells Out
Seaside Palms is a new home community in Sunset Beach, North Carolina, located just a few minutes across the South Carolina/North Carolina border. Conveniently situated just south of Highway 17 and close to the Ocean Ridge Plantation community, Seaside Palms offered homebuyers an opportunity to purchase a new home in a coastal North Carolina setting while remaining within easy reach of the Grand Strand.
The location was one of the community's biggest attractions. Seaside Palms is situated between Sunset Beach and Ocean Isle Beach, putting both beaches within a short drive. The area also provides convenient access to shopping, restaurants, golf, marinas and other coastal attractions.
Nearby Ocean Ridge Plantation is particularly well known for its collection of four championship golf courses, collectively known as the “Big Cats.” The courses—Lion’s Paw, Panther’s Run, Tiger’s Eye and Leopard’s Chase—offer a variety of layouts surrounded by the natural landscape of Brunswick County.
Dream Finders Homes at Seaside Palms
Dream Finders Homes was the builder at Seaside Palms, with the first home sales beginning in 2023. The community has now sold out, with the final homes selling in September 2026.
Seaside Palms consisted of 104 single-family homes, making it a relatively intimate community compared with many of the larger new-home developments being built throughout the coastal Carolinas.
During the course of development, Dream Finders Homes offered eight different floorplans, giving buyers a choice of smaller, more efficient homes as well as larger two-story designs. Homesites included locations overlooking ponds and preserved areas, as well as cul-de-sac homesites.
The combination of a coastal location, proximity to Sunset Beach and Ocean Isle Beach, nearby golf and a selection of relatively attainable new-home designs helped make Seaside Palms an attractive option for buyers looking for a home in the Brunswick County area.
Dream Finders Homes continues to expand
The sellout of Seaside Palms comes at an interesting time for Dream Finders Homes.
Dream Finders has become a significant homebuilder throughout the Carolinas, including the Myrtle Beach market, after expanding into North Carolina and South Carolina through acquisitions and continued growth. The company entered the Wilmington and Myrtle Beach markets in 2020 through its acquisition of the homebuilding business of H&H Constructors.
More recently, Dream Finders announced a much larger transaction that could further change the size and reach of the company. In August 2026, Dream Finders announced an agreement to acquire Beazer Homes in an all-cash transaction with an enterprise value of approximately $2.2 billion. If completed, the combined company is expected to become the sixth-largest homebuilder in the United States, with approximately 13,000 annual closings based on the companies' recent production levels. The transaction is expected to close during the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
For homebuyers in the coastal Carolinas, the larger story is the continued expansion and consolidation of the homebuilding industry. Dream Finders is no longer simply a smaller regional builder; the company has grown into a major national homebuilder while continuing to develop communities throughout the Carolinas.
Seaside Palms is now one of those completed chapters. After beginning sales in 2023 and offering 104 homes across eight floorplans, the Sunset Beach community has reached its final sale in September 2026.

Seaside Palms Is Now Sold Out
September 2026 has been a particularly active month for Dream Finders Homes in the Grand Strand and surrounding coastal market.
The builder has now sold out three new home communities in the region during September 2026: The Villas at Sandridge in Little River, Spring Oaks in Conway and Seaside Palms in Sunset Beach.
The three communities represent different locations and product types, but together they illustrate the continued presence of Dream Finders Homes across the coastal Carolinas.
For Seaside Palms, the story has now come to an end. The 104-home community that began selling in 2023 has been completed and sold out, leaving its residents with a new-home community just minutes from the beaches of Sunset Beach and Ocean Isle Beach, and close to the golf, boating and coastal amenities that make this portion of Brunswick County so attractive.
