News Title: Beverly Homes is now selling the final phase of homes in Cooper’s Bluff along the Intracoastal Waterway, having closed their first home in late August.
Cooper’s Bluff is a newer home community in Socastee, ideally situated near where Carolina Bays Parkway (Highway 31) crosses the Intracoastal Waterway. Just 10 miles from the heart of Myrtle Beach and less than 20 minutes from the shore, Cooper’s Bluff offers residents both convenience and coastal living. The community features great amenities and easy access to everything the Grand Strand has to offer—including a public boat landing only half a mile away, pristine beaches, and the iconic Waccamaw River swing bridge. With quick connections to Highway 31, Highway 544, Highway 501, and Highway 17 Bypass, travel is a breeze. Nearby Peachtree Landing, a quaint rural boat launch along the Waccamaw Blue Trail, is a favorite spot for kayaking and fishing.

Lennar has been the primary builder in Cooper's Bluff to date.

Lennar completed Cooper's Bluff development of an initial group of 250 single family homes in the spring of 2023. Lennar continued with development within Cooper's Bluff and completed a set of almost 120 townhomes.

The complete subdivision of Cooper's Bluff also has a small portion of property adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway. Beverly Homes owns these 27.57 acres of property within Cooper’s Bluff.
Beverly Homes is building an additional 28 single family units in this new section of Cooper’s Bluff along the Intracoastal Waterway. Of the 28 single family homes that Beverly Homes will be building in Cooper’s Bluff, 12 of them are along the Intracoastal Waterway. Although many of these new single family homes are technically in a flood zone area, most of them are 1 to 3 feet above the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Base Flood Elevation (BFE). BFE is the elevation of the 100-year flood, which is the flood level with a 1% chance of being equaled or exceeded in any given year. This likely will alleviate concerns over flood insurance.

There is no community dock (place to moor or tie up boats) planned thus far, but there will be a kayak/canoe launch designed to facilitate the launching and retrieving of kayaks. There is a public boat launch just a half of a mile away.

Beverly Homes is offering the following floor plans in Cooper’s Bluff – all with minimum 2 car garages and patios as standard features.

Beverly Homes has been building homes for over 35 years and is one of the premier homebuilders of the Grand Strand and Surrounding Areas. Unlike many large builders, Beverly Homes distinguishes itself by offering more flexibility in home customization.

The first closing by Beverly Homes in late August marks the start of the final phase at Cooper’s Bluff.
