News Title: The three builders in the Forestbrook new home community of Arcadia - Mungo Homes, Lennar and Centex/Pulte - have all just opened up new phases
Arcadia is a new home community in Forestbrook that first started to sell homes back in the spring of 2023. A little over two years later, over 425 homes in Arcadia have already sold. The homes in Arcadia have sold from around $300,000 to almost $600,000 with an average selling price at around $400,000.

The new home community of Arcadia is centrally located between Myrtle Beach and Conway, less than a mile from both Highway 31 and Highway 544, and less than a 10 minute drive to the beach.

Arcadia is a relatively large residential new home community located in the Forestbrook area of Myrtle Beach. Horry County has approved 869 single-family homes and 87 multi-family homes for development in the new home community of Arcadia in Forestbrook.

The amenities in Arcadia include a community swimming pool, sports courts, playground, clubhouse with fitness center and space for resident gathering. The new home community of Arcadia in Forestbrook is a natural gas community and includes high-speed internet and TV in the HOA fees.

The new home community of Arcadia is somewhat unique in that there are three builders – each offering a variety of floor plans and pricing. With multiple builders in the community, prospective homeowners can choose from a uniquely diverse selection of styles, floor plans, and features.

There are three builders in the new Forestbrook community of Arcadia – each of which has just opened up a new phase as of August 2025!

1. Mungo Homes - Builder in Arcadia

Michael J. Mungo started building homes in the Columbia, South Carolina area in 1954, and still today, the Mungo family is involved in the day-to-day operations of the new home building business. Mungo Homes is now a division of the Clayton Home Building Group and a Berkshire Hathaway company.

Mungo Homes is offering single-family homes in Arcadia with 2 to 6 bedrooms, 2 to 4.5 bathrooms, from 1,671 to 4,336 square feet of living space, prices starting in the middle $300’s.

2. Lennar - Builder in Arcadia

3. Centex/Pulte - Builder in Arcadia

Centex is a Pulte Brand. The Pulte Group is based Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Pulte Homes is technically now known as the Pulte Group and Del Webb, Centex, DiVosta Homes, American West, and John Weiland Homes are also Pulte brands.
