The Willows is a new home community in Longs that started to release homes in early 2024. This new home community in Longs is being developed next to the future Lennar subdivision of Valley Ridge and adjacent to the southeast, the Crown Park Golf Club. The Crown Park Golf Club initially opened as a 27-hole golf facility designed by Robbie Byers. Since that time, the course has been scaled down from 27 holes to 18 holes. The Crown Park Golf Club winds through a Carolina Pine forest and is well known for allowing for a peaceful round with none of the neighborhood distractions. There are five sets of tees at The Crown Park Golf Club measuring at 6,502 yards from the Blue Tees. The Crown Park Golf Club continues to successfully and proudly operate as one of the Grand Strand's hidden gems! Many years ago the landowner explored the potential for single-family homes on the property but ultimately decided not to move forward with development. At the time, Horry County approved the development of approximately 400 single family units and 230 multi-family units under the tentative community name of Calabay Park. As of early 2026, the landowner has decided against building new homes and The Crown Park Golf Club remains open and continues to operate successfully.
Myrtle Lakes North is the existing subdivision adjacent on the southeast side of the new home community of The Willows.
The Willows is conveniently located close to Highway 9 in Longs, just off of Hemingway Road.
