The Cove at Glenns Bay is a new townhome in Surfside Beach that started presales in February of 2025. The Cove at Glenns Bay townhomes will be accessible from Glenns Bay Road just south of Holmestown Road near Highway 17.
In September of 2023, D. R. Horton purchased this approximate 12 acre parcel of land on the ocean side of Highway 17 in Surfside Beach. This new townhome community in Surfside Beach is being developed around a single street named Bayou Loop.
Plans from D. R. Horton are showing 13 buildings - each with 6 townhomes - and one building with 5 townhomes - resulting in a total of 83 townhomes.
The Cove at Glenns Bay will be offering D. R. Horton's Pearson Plan, a 2-story townhome with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a 1 car garage and approximately 1,418 square feet of living space.
Estimated monthly HOA fees are expected to be about $140, to cover maintenance of common areas, trash, pickup, pond maintenance and landscaping. A one time capital contribution fee of $2,500 will be necessary at closing.
