Forestbrook is a residential area and census-designated place (CDP) just northwest of Myrtle Beach in Horry County, South Carolina. Forestbrook isn’t a separate city but rather a neighborhood/community that is considered part of the greater Myrtle Beach area.
Forestbrook lies about 5 miles northwest of downtown Myrtle Beach. It’s bordered by U.S. Highway 501 to the northeast, SC Highway 31 (Carolina Bays Parkway) to the northwest, and the Socastee Swamp to the south.
